Recently, Prosurge’s Thai partner conducted a on-site surge protection audit in a remote area in Thailand. Surge protection project is a hard job as some projects are in remote area or in mountains (many telecom stations are installed on mountains). In these cases, the end customer would like to have a SPD which requires the minimum maintenance as the maintenance cost (to check and replace the failed SPD) is very high.
