The International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) and the International Conference on Lightning Protection Systems (ICLPS) jointly held the 2023 event, incorporating the International Symposium on Lightning Protection and Atmospheric Discharges (SIPDA), at October 9-13, 2023 – Suzhou, China. Representatives from over 10 countries, including Brazil, France, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, the United States, Germany, Austria, and China, gathered for this international event, making it a truly global platform for the exchange of ideas.
CIGRE, a prominent global academic organization in the power industry, is dedicated to fostering collaborative research and development in power system technology. The CIGRE ICLPS, a lightning focused academic conference, stands as a testament to the organization & apos’ commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of power systems.
We are proud to announce that Professor Reynaldo Zoro, a distinguished expert and our valued client, was invited to present a lecture at the conference. His presentation, titled “Evaluation of NFPA 780 Standard for Lightning Protection of Oil and Gas Installations in Indonesia,” showcased his expertise and insights in the field.
Prior to the conference, Prof.Reynaldo Zoro and his assistant Mr. Bryan Denov (lecturer from Bandung Institute of Technology) engaged in lightning protection testing at our state-of-the-art TUV collaborative laboratory.
